The phone might be decent but after visiting the website and checking their rates I'll be sticking with Tracfone. AT&t wants $.10 per minute plus $1 for each day you use your phone or $.25 per minute. They can't be serious. You can get Tracfone plans that are less than $.10 per minute (doubled when roaming out of your area).

With companies like MetroPCS, you are better off going with them; unlimited calls for $35 a month.

AT&T wireless customer service is only slightly worse than the taliban service on desolate mountain tops.

Yep, I agree. AT&T's prepaid plan is too expensive, and their customer service is frightful. I'll never go back.

I use T-Mobile prepaid. 10 cents a minute if you pre-pay for a year ($100). Works well enough if you don't need too many minutes. You can do the math yourself to see if a plan saves you any money.
