great watch and a fair price compared to other vendors.

Way too overpriced. Try $50-$75 based on the prices of competators like Citizen or Casio. It is hard to justify buying watches that last vs. buying disposables that one will have to replace in a year...

I always use my cell phone to tell the time, thus I don't need a watch. Also the cell phone is very useful if your dive computer malfunctions and leaves you without air at 100 meters underwater because you can use it to dial 911.

The push buttons protrude so far, it looks like they would be easily damaged.

i have a g-shock paid around 50 bucks and would not trade it

G-shocks suck. I have had two. They use cheap parts for the buttons that control the mode and stop watch functions. One button broke in less than a year so I sent the watch in for warranty repair. They sent me another watch and a button broke on that in less than a year with another button breaking a while after that. The weak link in the chain always breaks and with G-shock it is the buttons. The G in G-shock stands for "girlie".

As for this watch, why is it so God damned hard to put numbers on the face of a watch?

BECAUSE of cell phones, the wrist-watch industry is hurting

those giant knobs on the right must be worth some cash...
