Better yet, go hit your local golf galaxy (or golf equipment retailer). Talk to the salespeople, try out some sets and see if you can't get a good used set. Picked up a set of Mizuno irons for $200 that were a year old, normally $900. You can then trade those clubs back in when you're ready to upgrade.

these are walMart clubs. Not worth it. get some knock offs from a local golf club maker.

Garbage. For slightly more you can get a MUCH nicer used set. I back #6 all the way to the driving range. This is equivalent to buying a $500 car: You're asking for failure.
