#8/9, a 100% rebate on a $10 item that might actually be worth $5 is just fine. You're out only $5 if you actually needed the item. An 88% rebate on a $90 item worth maybe $40 means you're out a whole lot more if the rebate doesn't come through. I could find a use for this, but don't actually need it. So I'd be out the full $90 if they masterrebated me.
