is this the really well built good quality thinkpad? i've heard there's one good line and the rest are cheap and overpriced.

If this price is for the x200, I will get it....

This is a good deal? Is it because it is so small? It seems like a slow sucker with no hard drive and no ram..

Maybe I am missing something? I guess compared to other laptops.. this doesn't impress me.

This is a tablet PC and comes with a digitizer pen. It has a very small form factor to go with the 12.1" screen. Notice that it does not have an optical media drive. Keep that in mind if this is something you are considering...

i was looking at this before i bought my x200. this is a standard screen, but i think it's still a pretty good deal. i think the x61s is more energy efficient than the x61.

this is not the tablet, otherwise it would say tablet.

This is the one with the low voltage processor which doesn't really offer any advantage after the p series came out.

Thainkpad is the most durbale and built to last with an iconic design (even though I don't like the style myself). I am using T42 for the last 4 years and am vert satisfied with the performance.

This is an excellent laptop. Great build quality, tiny size, light weight and extremely long battery life. Highly recommended. I've had several Thinkpads and they have, by far, outlasted all of my other laptops. My last X40 was still going strong when it was stolen and my new X60 gets daily abuse with no complaint.

is this better than their yearly friends and family employee discount?
