Granted it's just a stick, but not all sticks will work as a stylus on the iPhone (capacitive touchscreen).

Come on... seriously? First off there are plenty of different stylus products that are dirt cheap on fleabay and secondly the iPhone screen is not going to be scratched by your finger -with or without nails.

Could cost $60 if it were Wacom compatible

You can get screen protectors if you're worried about scratches also

Decent price, as #4 stated, I dug out some old ones from phones I've had, some of which did not work for my iphone. Just wish the iphone had a storage slot for one of these.

Anyone else think this particular stylus looks dull?
I don't mean uninteresting or unimpressive, literally it barely comes to a point.

Really? Can't you just use the back end of your pen?

Nope, gotta be a soft rubberized tip. Eraser head doesn't work either. Average price on fleabay is about $6. Looks like a good deal to me.

why is it everything will work with an eraser or your finger but you need a special wand? the voting machines worked with an eraser cant they come up with out of date hardware that the government uses? I mean come on I remember sears had touch screens ten years ago that you could use the back end of a pencil on and worked fine when ordering things in their store.
