Deal or, No deal. I'm thinking NO. At $1200.00 you have lots of options. Would this be called a media center laptop?

I would expect it to be a media center laptop. For the screen size, the HD resolution, blu-ray dvd-rom, the dedicated graphics card, I think you are certainly getting your monies worth and more with this. If I was in the market for a laptop this would be the one I'd get. It certainly is a portable media powerhouse.

what, so then you paid 1200 dollars for a 19" 1080p tv? i can't see myself needing a laptop this tricked out.

This is definitely comparable to the Gateway FX notebook deal that was posted here about 6 weeks ago. I believe the Gateway rang in at $1250 (sold by BestBuy).

You can get a new Lenovo T series for this price and it'll last longer.
