DJs use these. The main problem is that they're stored in sleeves that aren't good for long-term archival (plastic cases where they don't contact the sides are best.) By long-term, I mean years. The case itself is well built and sturdy. It's not that heavy to carry around when loaded, but it's not light.

Totally agree on this one #4. I would worry about scratching if used for professional use.
