If you attach it to your body, everyone will know if you are coming or going

odd ~ i just tried using the coupon & it didn't work (error message: "The coupon m24830550poff only applies to certain items. None of them are in your shopping cart"). Ben should have some kind of mechanism where these (limited & often time sensitive) web-deals would update itself regarding expiration or simply fraud or misleading third-party links.

pretty sweet. So now when a negligent driver hits your kid they'll be thinking "what is that faint red glow up ahead?" Meritline sells lower quality items, that much is obvious (a lot of gimmicky things). If you have to ride at night make sure you get high quality lights, those will keep you safe, not this trash

If you have to ride a bike at night, better get off the road. Most sane people will just run you over and not think twice about it since your definitely a Darwin award winner.

I ordered a set for my 3 year-old. We often take walks after dinner and, now that it's getting dark early, I wanted something to make his his 12" bicycle a (no training wheels) visible.

The LEDs in the front are good, but not great. The lights in the rear are standard quality for a set this price. The build quality is cheap, but not a rip off.

I've never actually seen a bike with headlights before.

#13, that's because you never leave the couch, you fat-ass.

Just got them, quality really stinks, rear light body does not close tightly, there is a visible gap, rain will ruin batteries and electronics in no time.

You can get more variety and nicer ones for the same price on ebay. They are from Korea, but mine shipped in a week. The quality is the same I saw in my local bike store. I got a 21 LED headlight and a more compact 5 LED taillight for $8.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the seals seam really good on mine, and the LEDs seem brighter than others I've seen. They are very compact, and even though they do seem cheap like most of the others, I don't think they are so cheap they'll break easily.

Yah, agreed. This might be super cheap plastic or something.

My last Meritline bike light broke while I was installing it due to brittle plastic that needs to flex to fit over the handle bars. They made good and refunded my money when I complained, which is good. I ended up being able to rig the light with an old lock mount and it worked ok for a little under a year. I think the cheap plastic and lack of good seals eventually killed it. The switch no longer seems to work now. I need a new light for that bike but I think I'll pass on this deal.

I just got a Planet Bike light for around $25. Everything less than that seemed real cheap. Quality goes down significantly

Everything nowadays is cheaply made, but if you ride at night, you must have a light.
