Not a bad idea to free up a USB port but I you are short on USB ports why not buy a USB hub with built in card readers. They are about the same price.

this one has a universal ipod/iphone dock, even fits most iPhones with a case, so super convenient, the best part is the cool factor... leaving this badboy connected to your workstation at work will garantee someone to steal your iPhone or iPod.

why don't you stick your tanchong into it and see if it fits micro "sd".

sd = small d...

Steve Jobs would LOVE to see a device that does two things involving the iPod... Too Complicated!! Devices need to do one thing and one thing only!!!

In all seriousness, This looks okay but $46 is pretty steep! Besides, no mention of iPhone 3G compatibility... I know some of the original iPhone docks did not fit the 3G, but since this fits original iPod (thicker), I'm thinking there's a good chance it'll fit 3G (but still, no mention of it), so beware.

Kinda cool, but this is the kind of thing you buy @ Marshalls after xmas for $7. Save your dough!
