Cable not included ... I would hate for HP to actually supply a $5 cable. If these are as good as the inkjet all in ones the cable is about all that actually works.

The two reviews I found for this on Cnet were not pretty. The market is flooded with mediocre offerings. This is one of them.

I'm finding the same thing as you folks. Although it's inkjet, you can't beat the Canon Pixma iP2600 at WalMart for $30. As far as Color multifunctions go, I'm not impressed.

Inkjet is the pits. Never, ever, EVER, get an inkjet. I print somewhat infrequently, and by the time that I do print, the ink has EXPIRED. It's effectively $20 for just a few pages each time I print.
What a damn waste.

I agree #4, inkjets are a gimmick. However, they are superior to lasers in terms of photo printing, but I don't do much of that anyhow. For $30, I consider that a disposable printer. A friend uses the refill kits and claims they are a good deal. His hands are the color of a rainbow though by the time he's finished refilling. That's a PITA in my book. I've resolved to go the laser route too for 95% of my printing. If I'm out on the road and need to print, I carry my portable inkjet with me. I *try* to run a page through it every so often to avoid dry cartridges.
