I don't think PS3 will ever hit this price level because if it did, everyone would own one including me, however, Sony is not that smart.

If I were going to bother buying an Xbox 360 I'd spend the extra money for one with a hard drive. Not the arcade version. Although I am quite interested in what #11 has said.

I bought a brand new 360 pro in May'08 for $200, including tax. This was from a wholesale dealer. Of course, it did not come with the 30 day return but did come with the Microsoft warranty.
