Available at Dollar Tree, absolutely junk, I bought one once for a headphone trade up. Ben should not post such item.

This looks very cheaply made, but what do you expect for $2?

I'm betting the headphones it comes with will suck pretty bad too, so you'll want to already have a pair to use.

Just tear up two one dollar bills and save yourself the hassle.

Now if this thing would handle AM... I would drop a dime on it.

agreed with #1, you can pick these up at stores for $0.99. Same with that $14.99 commercial for the "enhanced listening device" --- also $0.99

If you clicked through to the link, take 2 dollars out of your pocket and eat them. Easily a better experience than this radio.
#10   dhho1 - Posted 9:58 am PST 11/21/08 (1167 Posts)
why would anyone listen to AM?
#11   CartWheel - Posted 10:01 am PST 11/21/08 (107 Posts)

I had one of these before and it fell apart. Very cheaply made.
#13   calzone45 - Posted 10:35 am PST 11/21/08 (42 Posts)
I listen to sports on AM. But if you don't need a crappy AM radio, buy a Sansa 200 series for $40..bacon's a great MP3 player with FM radio, voice recorder, and supports video/photos.

they have these for $1 at dollar tree. Do not waste your time and money on this. They are cheaply made.

I got one of these from a job fair. It doesn't worth $2 honestly.
#17   benben - Posted 11:42 am PST 11/21/08 (176 Posts)
IS this a 20GB version?

Mine has a Bridght LED light on it that I got from W-Mart. Light is handy but radio is so-so.

I'd rather pay a bit more for a refurb sansa that has a radio plus lots more functionality (especially when rockboxed)
