Get 4 GB if you have a 64 bit operating system. 32 bit op sys doesn't see past 3 GB.

Corsair is the best ram and makes the best flash drives. Fast and reliable. Look at the reviews or google them. I have 2gb in a vista comp. and it flies.

Get 4GB even if you have 32bit OS, because modern dual channel laptops need equal SODIMMs for best performance, meaning your real choice is whether to have 2GB as 2 x 1GB modules or 3.n GB usable as 2 x 2GB modules. At $25 AR, the extra 1.n GB of memory is worth it.
