Kworld and reliable aren't two words typically used in the same sentence.

Might work for 3 months, or about as long as it will take to get the rebate...

Why can't we use the DTV coupons for these convertrers?

Oh, and I have a KWorld box similar to this that's been working just fine for almost 2 years now. Guess maybe their QC isn't always bad, eh?

Do you just need a display connected or need to have a computer running as well?

This isn't a CECB because connects to a computer monitor, not to a television via an F-connector or S-video. The rules on what qualifies as a CECB digital-to-analog converter are VERY precise and strict.

This will NOT get HDTV signals, only analog.

"This television receiver has only an analog broadcast tuner and will require a converter box after February 17, 2009, to receive over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna because of the Nation's transition to digital broadcasting."

If you're on an analog cable system, you can use this, or if you're getting only low power tv stations that don't have to switch to digital till 2012, this will be ok.

For people getting off-air signals in urban areas, I don't think this is a worth getting.

Kworld has terrible products and even worse customer support. If you buy this then you will be out $50.00 (don't expect to get your rebate) and very unhappy.
