680 > 750

it has msn direct and a better antenna

I'm looking for something that has traffic redirecting, good antenna, and easy to navigate menu. It's for my GF, she drives a lot and she gets stuck in traffic all the time.

i have the 680 and the msn direct is great. traffic is generally very accurate. you get weather, gas prices and movie times too.

#3 - 680 isn't even made anymore. It is obsolete. The only thing that it can do that a 750 can't is MSN (which has a nice fee attached). 750 has more connectivity, better receiver, FM transmitter, more data features with the SDHC card slot. And it is new with a real warranty.

We have this. It works great and are very happy with it. The MSN Direct is definitely helpful. Even though it is refurbished, it is a good price.

The 680 also has an FM transmitter. I think you could get a lifetime subscription from MSN for like $350.

It's a great price even though it is discontinued.

Spend $12 more and get the newer version at costco.

Nuvi 680 one of the few to come with 1 year of MSN-Direct. Also can use Traffic thru FM(optional antenna and subscription)

msn direct free for 1 year (good for me because i never keep things for more than a year anyway...) it is only $50/year after that. NOT expensive at all and well worth it IMO. just because they dont make it anymore doesnt mean that it is not better. and it does not have more features. take a look before you post. the 680 also has bluetooth. you can use this feature with the built in FM transmitter to hear your phone over your stereo. the 750 does not have bluetooth.

yeah good deal - I paid over 500 for the street pilot version about a year ago..

Does 750 have that antenna? the 680 has it and it sucks.

I picked up the refurbished 680 a few weeks back from Amazon. This is a good deal. Garmin has a easy to use menu system. This unit has BT connectivity (if that matters to you). MSN (gas, weather, traffic, movies) is included for the first year. $69.00 per year after that.

very confusing, garmin has so many different models.
