I can sort of picture the two lefts, rights, and sub, but how can you have the front channel if it's headphones?

From the pic they have there... They seem to think they can trick u'r ears with 3 sectors(speakers per ear)...

Actually, they do trick your brain into thinking that you have a center channel and they seem to work well.

The only thing is my ears get hot and uncomfortable after litening for about 20 minutes or so, but you may have a different experience with these.

does anyone know the quality of these specific headphones... i'm in the market and would like some feedback before pulling the trigger

I spent something like $50 on a pair of the Razer multi-channel headphones about a year ago. Maybe it's the crappy $30 SB Live 24-bit card I'm using, but I can't tell the difference between 2-channel and 5-channel.

Then again, for only $20, I'd buy these if I didn't already have a set.

These are good... you can use them on a pc with a bad (or non existent) sound card and still make it 1 it converts the singla via usb. Price is a real steal too

just got mine - only took 2 days with standard ground shipping. headphones feel and sound good
