1 tb model is $95. this model from the reviews doesn't seem to be doing too well.

This is 7200 RPM. The 1TB is 5400.

I believe maximum pc rated the samsung series (the 1tb model specifically) as their top pick for performance in the 7200 rpm space. But then some of their forum posters complained about reliability issues. Not sure if that's really substantiated beyond a few complaints.

I ordered 3 Samsung drives about 6 months ago. 1 died after 2 days. They had a small transistor(?) on the exposed board that was prone to getting hit when installing or removing drives. Hopefully they redesigned that (2 dead). Third drive is still running to my knowledge but the owner died (I don't think it was related to the drive).
