I've had the 1GB in my pocket for 2 years now. I carry 2 spare AAA batteries. This brand's sound is excellent. If you're looking for fancy controls with album names and shit like that, then look elsewhere. But I have a SanDisk and the sound sucks compared to this.

buy.com had a 2gb player for around ~$14 shipped.. Add a cheap 4gb microsd to it for $8 and you have a 6gb player cheaper then this.
