Restaurant.com has 70% off their coupons with coupon code THANKS [Exp 11/30]. This has reduced the price of their $25 Dining Certificates to just $3 for most restaurants and areas. Also includes a coupon for $10 off a $75 purchase at Wine.com. Fine print applies for many of the certificates, such as minimum 4 entrees, etc.

I have used three coupons from this service. One meal was fairly poor, and two were excellent. So, the good places are on there, it just takes careful looking. Two nights ago, I spent an $8 coupon to get $50 off my tab. Best Hangar Steak in years (Brookstone Grill, Derry, NH).

i think these coupons are generally good for larger gatherings, so dinner for two is generally not worth it.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy these "dining certificates", you're really only buying coupons. Make sure you read restrictions before you buy. Many "dining certificates" only apply if, say, the meal is double the price of the "dining certificate". So, pretty crappy deal. Yeah, you get 50% off, but you pay 25% of the total value to get it, which makes your actual savings only 25%.

i think its amazing. #3 brings up a good point though, there is fine print with how much u have to order, so don't get too big of a gift certificate. it's a good way to hack off almost half your bill Smile

Don't buy these in advance... the coupons come out all the time, and the supported resteraunts change regularly. They're a good deal, but get them as you need them else in the long run you wind up losing money since they only credit what you paid later on towards a new certificate and can't use a coupon with the credit.

It seems from the above comments that these coupons vary by region. In so.Cal this is an excellant deal. I use these coupons at least 4 times per month. They're good for a year and can be resubmitted for refund credit. I have found the restaurants in my area that i like, and use these regularly. The amounts for them get lower all the time. I especially enjoy the 80% off that is advertised recently. Its worth a look and the restrictions are nominal in my area.

there is always a catch... in so.cal, most listed restaurants i've never heard of... i agree with above... prob better for larger group.
