I like my old IGuidance on PDA over my TomTom. TomTom doesn't do U-turns and can't easily see shortest routes. I give away TomTom and try a Garmin. Not sure Magellan would be better than TomTom.

No clue about the price, but I got one of these as a gift a while ago and it's not bad. Not great though; it takes a while to figure out where you are when first turned on... no "oh crap I'm lost" quick directions, at least a minute or two.
