I would LOVE to test the weatherproof claims of this thing!
submerge in water, then freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw - see if everything is there.

I thought this was a terrific price until #1 pointed out it is after rebate. After reading in the news yesterday that one of the big rebate houses (in Phoenix) is going under, I am even more leery of rebates.

I had this - sold it almost immediately. Slower than molasses. If speed is not a concern, not bad. But otherwise, PASS.

I won't do rebates! Give me the price without reebate or with INSTANT rebate, and you'll have a better shot at getting my money.

I agree with #7. These guys need to stop doing rebates. Good deal other than that.

These are not that fast. But the large space is something nice to have. I am also very doubtful about getting the rebate back.

FYI - "The rebate request must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days (including weekends) from date of purchase to qualify." With the holidays and the weekend coming up, I think I'll pass.

Yeah, ditto on rebates. Maybe, just maybe make an exception for Staples rebates.
