Actually, a really good deal for a 52". Aquos is a great model by Sharp, and the price is well work it on this model.

Have you noticed that the smaller LCDs are not being marked down? Like 22". Something easy to transport but not battery powered.

I have both brands and my Samsung LN52A550 Rules over this one and its 1 1/2 years old try Frys to get it but I admit this is a great price for Sharp

Decent model. Think about it though, this is something you will be using all the time so dont cut corners. I would say samsung, sony, or panasonic. samsung for a realistic dark picture, panasonic for a bright easy to see picture, and sony for in the middle.
