I like this printer - however after having it for only a week, the scanner mechanism failed. Took a couple of weeks before the retailer would replace (I won't mention who). Finally got it resolve and have had good luck since.

HP has been producing absolute crap lately. I had three printers fail, on two separate systems, in the past few months, all with different problems. I just wish that there was a reliable company out there as an alternative. I've heard that Canon is using some chip in their ink cartridges so you can't use generics.

I get "Sorry, the promo code 80L7590 you've entered is invalid."

Has anybody gotten this to work?

Yeah, grabbed one w/ MS cashback too, $95 net. Promo code died about 5 minutes later.

#2, look online and there is a way you can disable the ink readings! I done it on my Pixma printers!
