the British narration is great, why they had her redo it I'll never know. Good set to watch for those that never learned it in school. Like me.

David Attenborough's narration is much better.

anyone notice in the british version they make references to the sizes of things with respect counties/places in england? i wonder if they do the same thing in the US version but with US states.

Wow..a really good price. I own the Blu-ray UK version, and it looks amazing. Can't really watch this on anything else.

We got our Planet Earth blu-ray set for around $48 last year with David Attenborough by purchasing from Deep Discount DVD (which sells it for $63.85) + a 25% off coupon. It's great and heartbreaking all at the same time.

PS3 is still the best blu-ray player out there #10. Even if you don't game you can also use it to stream media from your PC.

I prefer the female voice actually, but I didn't really buy this for the narration. I want amazing HDTV eye candy, and you can't go wrong with this.

The BBC version was fantastic. I don't buy too many DVDs but I'd get this if I had a good deal on the BBC version.
