I have a Brother MFC-465CN which is probably similar though this isn't wireless (gotta plug into network). Very good interface/software for the price IMO. I was a little disappointing in the printing speed, but I probably need to get a laser to get the speeds I'd be happy with.

The Brother LASER MFC and Fax machines are very good, reliable and not too bad on consumables.
Notice that this is a INK JET, so a good deal if you don't print very much, a poor one if you do, but that's the way it is with every INK jet. I've got a Brother MFC 7440N at home for faxes and black and white printing. And at the office there's a 2820 fax machine.
As for this particular machine you can always check the reviews on cnet or newegg and see what people are saying about it.

I must disagree with Zorak, I print about 10-20 pages a day of full text and I have never gone through more ink than with a Brother machine. I switched to an HP and I only have to buy ink a few times a year.

Brother makes very good printers and fax machines. My office uses them. They have excellent customer service.

I've never had good luck with Brother products.

My experience:
Slow printer, but fairly quiet.
Uses the 61 ink vs. the high yield 65. The 65 provides 2x the printing for about $2 more. The 65 is used on their more expensive printers. That is for brother ink, not generic.
Copies comes out accurate but light.
Uses a cleaning cycle that consumes ink almost constantly.
Fairly compact unit. Non replaceable printhead. It goes, so does the printer. Buy the extended warranty if you go with this.
