Use live.com to get an extra 30% off from eBay seller "buy". It's the same as buy.com.

is that resolution correct on a 22inch LCD? I have never seen a LCD less then 24inch with that resolution.

I have the Viewsonic 21.6" with 1920x1080 WUXGA pixels and it is indeed nice and sharp. But the best is this resolution on my Dell laptop which has just a 15.4" screen. This ultra high resolution DOES come in screen smaller than 24", but you have to look around for them. If you have decent eyesight, it is well worth it for such a high sharpness low dot-pitch. Mine cost $250 extra for it in the 15.4" LCD, but when others see it they go "Wow!".

Nice specs on a 22" but still kinda high in price for the size. Few more dollars and you can get a 24" at 1920 by 1200.

yes #8 but the pixel pitch on a 24" will be larger. You will get a much smoother picture because you're putting more pixels into a smaller space. And this monitor is a 16x9 ratio instead of a 16x10 that normal monitors are. I ordered an Asus brand 22" from Newegg with this resolution (but 2ms response). It will be coming in tomorrow and I can't wait. Also, the Asus was only $210. You can also find Acers (which are getting great reviews) for $190 with the same specs (maybe higher response rate, 5ms). Definitely worth it.

Here's a Soyo 22" for about $180 if you add shipping. Except for the slightly wider resolution on this one, the specs are pretty much the same. I've heard good things about Soyo.

hmm... tempting. This plus a digital tuner could make for a nice monitor/tv setup for my sister.
