last week when i was riding my road bike home from work, a 20 mile trip, this dude with a leaf blower powered bicycle passed me. i was doing 22mph at the time. he was on the sidewalk. no helmet. it was dark out. no lights. weaving between trees, up and down over driveways. thats the kind of guy that gets these. some day he is gonna run into an old lady.

I'm sick of pedaling, so I got one. I'm now the coolest kid on the block.

In that case, you better watch your back or else nuisance might molest you.

I bought one. The setup is not as easy as it seems. It takes a good 3-4 hours to get it up and running.

Also you have to have a drill and bits for most bikes. If you try and fail, you have a big hole through your frame.

After i got it it working, i realized it also pretty damn loud. Sometimes at night your dont want to ride this bc it wakes ppl up. Its also heavy 35 lbs. May affect normal biking speeds.

Dont put this on a nice bike

yep, these things are loud as a beetch and you will look like a total doofus riding this thing around. if you want a moped, buy a moped. don't do this to your bike.

Where can you get a moped at this price point?

This bike looks an awful lot like PeeWee's stolen bicycle. Maybe it really was hidden in the basement of the Alamo all this time.

    I'd rather something electric

Yeah, I like to have a motorized bike myself for commuting. Sometimes you just don't want to peddle when you have to travel 23+ miles one way! But definitely need electric version.
