This is too bad. Even though this is not the newest model, these are great DVD player at this price. They play anything you throw at them

No more refurb Philips for me. The last one I got keep freezing in the middle of the movie. So bad that I had to unplug it to unfreeze.

They've got another one that's not upconverting, but it's still a solid player for pretty cheap. Surf around, you'll find easily.
