I returned mine because of the lanyard issue. It goes well with Sansa Clip if you clip the Sansa on the collar.

I have a C300, it's great. I like it better than Creative EP630.

yea, $20 a week ago, plus, Cord length = 0.49 feet = 6 inches. and that's not a typo. SHORT CORD!

Thanx #3, I have the EP630 and I'm going to give this a try.
And #4, I have a 3rd gen Nano and actually hate the length of the EP630. I'd rather have short, light earpieces to go with it.

Are these things comfortable in your ear, or will they hurt after 30mins or so?

#7, you were almost right, but I did notice that in lower frequency sound range, C300 does slightly better/richer than EP630, specially when you listen to classical music, IMHO.
C300 also has asymmetrical length of wire in each ear phone, but EP630 has uniform length. That comes in handy if you put your iPod/Mp3 in your upright pocket and rout the wire and earphone behind your neck to your ear canal. It's almost un-noticalbe wearing it.
I have own 4 pairs of EP630 and 2 pairs of C300. I do prefer C300 more, even though EP630 is not necessarily a bad pair.

I also have the CX-300s, CXL-400s and the Creative EP-630s. I think the EP-630 = CX-300 is an urban legend. I've heard it many times but I notice a fairly significant difference. Don't get me wrong, the EP-630s that came with my Dell XPS are nice, but they are definitely "muddy" in comparison.
These CXL-400s with a lanyard are only in two cases I can imagine:
1) You wear your MP3 around your neck. I've been trying this with my 3g nano and it works ok, but I have to put two knots in the lanyard to shorten it up. Otherwise, the nano pulls the buds out of my ears. Anything bigger than a nano will be too heavy, I think. Even the nano is almost too heavy.
2) Use an audio extension cable. An old pair of Sony Fontopias came with one that I still use, even though the Fontopias themselves gave up the ghost due to their well-known problem with insulation that falls off the wires.

Oh, and if the lanyard /short-chord /wear-your-music-around-your-neck works for you, I'd give these ear buds an 8/10. For the price, I'd give it a 10/10.

GREAT SOUND BUT SHORT CORD. I bought the silver a week ago for $20, but now they have the choice of silver or black for $25. If you buy this, you'd have to end up getting a lighter mp3 player like the Sansa Clip #1 mentioned. Or you can get an extension cord, but keep in mind that the 3.5 mm plug makes a 90-degree, opposed to the straight design.
I've read reviews that said the Sansa Clip has a bad shuffle option and always skips over songs. I'm still trying to find a good player that works with these headphones for casual/gym use.

#12, I have a Sansa Clip 2GB bought one year ago from BestBuy. Unlike the Sansa e280, it has excellent sound unusual to Sansa. I have not noticed its deficiency in the shuffle mode. Was the shuffle option meant to play the tracks randomly (to skip the next several songs)? It is so light that you could clip it to your T-shirt collar or the sleeve without using an armband or a lanyard. Be careful not to break the clip as it is not covered by the warranty and is hard to find a replacement. Finally, if you need a silicon skin, a pair is $2.99 and free shipping from Startel, Minnesota using GCO: http://www.nextwebsales.com/StoreFrontProfiles/deluxeSFshop.aspx?Sansa%20Clip&sfid=141934&c=847114

Got me a pair - I'll use the cord from my phonotopias, and the lanyard can be taken off according to the reviews at newegg...
