Current standard is 160GB HD and "n" wifi, missing in this model. Better look for the MSI Wind for $380 after $50 instant rebate/discount.

Going to be pretty slow with 512MB of ram. Go with the MSI wind or Acer one which come with a gig of Ram already already and as cheap.

#4, you can easily upgrade it. I paid $15 for 2GB of ram.
The only issue I concern is the temperature a lit bit too warm on S10 as you can see in the review link given by #3.
Overall I'm happy with my S10.
Anyone who didn't yet have a sleeve for it, now it's available at lenovo website it's only $8.99 free shipping. I just order one myself.

I read a review somewhere that said the Lenovo S10 was the fastest of all the netbooks.

I haven't actually been hands on with the S10 yet, but it looks to be one of the best netbooks for typing. ALong with the Samsung NC10, and HP's MiniNote. I'm a little disappointed with Lenovo for lowering the S10's feature set in the 'low end', if you look they have 2 'lines' of the S10 now. At first they just had the one, with the normal netbook feature set ie. 160 gb hdd, 1 gb ram, (minus the N-wifi I believe) , but now they kinda pulled a fast one. Bad Lenovo! Bad!

I agree... 512 is the min for a ok running xp... 1gb would have been much better, esp since the cpu is only 1.6 ghz... close to equivalent to a similar (2ghz range) spec'd pentium M I believe, which is a bit slowish. I can't say for sure, but I really want to try out one of these atom machines.

I stand corrected... the atom has 50-60% the performance of a similarly clocked Pentium M...

This is about the minimum workable size because of the keyboard, biggest of which is on the Asus 1000 series, 95% of full size. If possible, try them out. You'll find out how important this is. I tested a few a Microcenter, and ended up with the 1000H 160.

S10 is the second best after the Wind, it's good that the 512MB onboard memory can be disabled so you can easily upgrade to 2GB, unlike the AA1 which has a maximum RAM of 1.5GB.
