Great grill and easy to clean. I like the whole line of grills and have used them for a long time with no problems. Also a great price.

Really a great grill for the quick and occasional cooker. If you are in college or live on your own this is a great item to have. Just make sure you keep it clean. I had one of the original ones, it was fantastic, quick and easy. But with 4 college students using it for everything from grilled cheese to ribeye steaks it got a bit dirty and used. Save yourself on shipping just get it at the store.

The plates pop right out by squeezing the sides. It couldn't be easier.
I have this grill and I like it. Just don't overfill it. The very far right and the very far left of the surface don't get nearly as much heat as the rest of it. (This problem is not specific to this model, mind you).

Anyone ever manage to make a nice cut of steak taste right with one of these? I've had no luck whatsoever.

The trick to remember with steak is that it continues to cook for a while after you remove it from the heat, so don't overcook it!
I've done sirloin steaks quite nicely with mine, thank you!

for paninis and grilled cheese...sure. but for steak!? only if you like your meat steamed. i find that the top half of the grill traps in the moisture that would, on a normal grill, evaporate away. like #7 i dont use mine much. its one of those things that seems like a great idea, you use it daily for the first few weeks and then it gets old and never gets any use.

So many Grills, so little space. George, what about putting 2U rack mount tabs on the sides of these things?

Love my Foreman grill! Mine doesn't have the pop out plates, though. Must be time for an upgrade.

The grill is cool, but just say no to Wal Mart.

I'm with #11, that's what happens to mine, moisture + steak = rubber.

I remembered I use this thing everyday in college. It was the best thing I invested in. However, I gave it away when I left school, so I haven't used one in a few years. I think it takes practice to learn how to cook food correctly on one of these things. And keeping it clean is important too. I miss the machine and I think I'll get one.

Cooking steaks on these takes some practice, but it can be done. Have one of these and love it.
