this is a much better deal than the previously posted knife set

twice as many knives for a fraction of the price

you get what you pay for.

well they are cheap.
if that's what you need get them. otherwise, be aware that they are i believe serrated knives that are "sharp" but will tear you food when you cut - definitely not good for cleanly slicing tomatoes and the like.
if you want real quality, forschner by victorinox are some of the best at a relatively reasonable price.

I think I'll just stick to having one good quality chef's knife. Even for steak knives I think you can do better than this.

I can dig the retro BensBargains lately with all the knife set deals posted recently.

I bought this set at Pamida for 29 on black friday.

Read the reviews, and believe them. It's actually an excellent set, with a life-time warranty (any reason, even if you broke it or made it dull on purpose) and an easy swap out process.

I'm sure all you elitist Chefs could come up with a hundred reasons why this sucks, but for jo-blo, this set is perfect.
