Probably plenty fast for most DSLRs out today. Great price for the size too, from a known brand. Anyone have any experience with Lexar rebates?

Great Price for a excellent card for casual shooter with a DSLR. I bought two a few month back and my only regret is that I didn't purchase a faster card.
Its painfully long to download 8GB of photos, even with an FW800 reader.

The rebate is too high I agree. And the rebate link is broken. I wish it worked. I can be a patient

This would be a really good deal if it wasn't for the huge rebate. The rebate link did work for me.

The rebate makes it a bad deal. Time to get back to price cutting instead of rebates that never get paid.

At 6MP, a 2GB card yields 600+ images. I spent two weeks on vacation, and only filled half of it.

I bought it from B&H for $87 about 2 week ago. They included all rebate forms and info with the shipment. Nice card.

At 12MP shooting in raw mode, I filled one of these on a one week vacation.
I've gotten my Lexar rebates before, but this one does seem risky.

Large rebate but seems sane. It's a good card.

I've had good luck with both Adorama and with Lexar rebates. Still, this is a lot of money to risk and, at the very least, your rebate submission should be sent in by certified mail so you have proof that they received it.
As for the card speed, it matters both when uploading your photos AND when shooting, contrary to what No. 11 says. But this card is fast enough for a typical amateur photographer's needs and is a great deal - assuming you get your $80 rebate.

I have the 2GB version of this card and it is a nice card. The rebate link worked for me and I've had no problem with Lexar rebates in the past. Yeah the rebate is huge though if you have bad luck with rebates.

This is a great card, but if you are going to do this $80 rebate, make copies of everything and doublecheck all the criteria and get a lawyer and judge to mail it for you.
