LG makes great quality displays. Try this and you will not be unhappy. The price might be a little high, but it will only come down.

yep IMO LG is up there with Samsung. this guy's price is pretty good for the quality, but no HDMI...

LG recently got fined $400 million for price fixing TV's. Just curious if this kind of activity by a manufacturer affects the buying descions of any of you?

LG price fixing? Interesting. I wonder where that was happening. Usually, one can only price fix when that company is dominating a market. I don't think LG Philips was in that position. There were also Samsung & Sharp to form the big three panel makers back then, before the Taiwan panel makers were ramping up and catch up.
Now the prices are dropping so quickly that all manufacturers wish the prices can be fixed and stop falling.
