i have the x200, way better specs and weighs around the same. but heftier in price and if you want to 9 cell battery, the weight goes up to almost 4 lbs, but so worth it in my opinion.

how is this compared to a Acer Aspire One?
    #3   hmmwv - Posted 7:00 am PST 12/8/08 (163 Posts)
Difference: AspireOne has 3 USB, 2 SD slot, 0.3MP camera, 1.5G max RAM, 3,6,and 9 cell (OEM) battery available.
S10 has 2 USB, 1 SD slot, 1 ExpressCard slot, 1.3MP camera, 2G max RAM (onboard 512M can be disabled), currently only 3 cell battery.

Lenova is a chinese company, and we've already agreed to boycott china.

i tried a bunch at frys electronics, including this one and the aspire one. I think the best of the bunch is actually the hp mini 1000 ... keyboard is larger and more usable than either the lenovo or the acer. the touchpad is also larger both in area and buttons.

Wonder if a person could swap out the single core Atom with a dual core Atom.

The reviews on this Netbook suck. The battery rundown is ridiculous compared to it's competition. I am also no fan of Lenovo these days, or the country that owns it.

i was about to buy one of these for 430 a few months back. Does anyone know if they will eventually come out with a 6 cell battery?

Seems like battery life would be too poor for an ultraportable with only 3 cells.
