#7 I've got a 25.5 ws and 2001fp now. 1920x1200 + 1600x1200 = win.
This is a good deal. I believe these use MVA type panels as opposed to TN. Better color and viewing angles, more uniform. There are cheaper 24" LCDs, but they won't look as nice.

nice price. very tempting.
I stuck two 2405fpw monitors together for a dual setup once. it looked ridiculously gigantic, even at 3 feet back. dual 20" to 22" looks normal physically, but the resolution is lower. if you have a big enough desk and can sit 4 feet back, the dual 24" setup would be nice. don't forget that the video card would have to be strong with a lot of VRAM to refresh that extended desktop resolution.

Is there much of a difference with the 2408WFP and the 2407WFP?

finally dell has dropped the price of the monitor. Now come on, dell drop it below 200 and then we all will just jump on it:).

Glad to see the price may be coming down on this. I know it's superior to the TN panels (I use this at work), but when you can get a nice 24" TN for ~300, it's hard to justify 500+ for this one. Keep it coming Dell.
