Nintendo Wii ConsoleWalmart.com has the Nintendo Wii Console by itself for $249 + $17 shipping = $266 shipped. Also be careful with the controller, lest you injure yourself and wind up as yet another Wii injury statistic.

Will Wii Fit lower those injury stats, since there is a different controller?

Even though I have one of these mod-ed to play pirated games, I hate this machine. It's just collecting dust next to my PS3 and 360. I have to ebay it soon.

The Wii console is not the difficult item to find this year (local Best Buy had a stack of them last weekend) it's the Wii Fit that's hard to find.

Nintendo sold over 2 million Wii's in November. These continue to be a hot Christmas gift. Fortunately Nintendo is doing a good job keeping up with stock. Now please release some better games.

Not much of a bargain when I can find them in stock for $250 at Game Stop.

How are these still having inventory problems after a year?

waiting for wii prices to fall below $149. I can't justify paying more than that for a video game console.

This machine is garbage. Bought it in Jan '07, sold it to some clueless soccer mom in December '07 for more than I bought it for new. Collected dust for 6 months beforehand. Wii Sports is still the only thing that keeps people coming back, stuff like Mario and Zelda have finite replayability. Pathetic effort by Nintendo. If you want/own this console, you suck.

I've had mine since last Xmas and the novelty has definitely worn off. The concept is great and I love the controllers, but I've not been very happy with the games that have been released over the past year. Should've asked for a 360.
