These things are great. Just be careful of the tip before the reduction and the minimum amount to spend. If you go to the restaurants anyway though, it's a great deal!

These are a good way to check out new restaurants if there are some listed in your area. My experience, call the restaurant ahead before you buy the certificate to make sure they're still open and accepting the certificates.

I get almost no spam from this company. I get one confirmation, after an order, and one request to review my meal, after each use. Now, if they are behind all the non-related spam I get, that's a different story.

Great opportunity to try new restaurants. Be careful of restaurants that drop out of the program without notifying restaurant.com. You will get a refund from restaurant.com for the price you paid for the certificate - but it could be disappointing to pay the full bill if you expected to redeem a $75 or $100 gift certificate.
