I bought one of these a few weeks ago and am very impressed. I've owned several Canon P&S as well as a Nikon D50 DSLR. The features on this camera are really amazing. The HD video is awesome and allows you to zoom when recording. The sound is not so great however. Fun feature is that you can retrieve images from the video. The picture quality is up there for a P&S. Even low light is good (but nowhere near a DSLR). One thing I am trying to work through is inconsitency with white balance. If you shoot in RAW mode this is easily fixed with included post-processing software. Most of the time it's fine, but occationally the colors are off. Seems to be in the low-light conditions. The wide angle (28mm) is great. The zoom fun. The image stablization feature is fantastic!

If you are looking for a camera that can give you nice images for those who just want to point and click as well as give a LOT of creative options consider this one. This one really has it all for the price.
