At least the Egg finally is starting to offer 100 packs of these and Verbatim at a decent price without the stupid freaking rebates. I had quit buying them because of the hassle of the rebates.

These are considered second class media. No way I trust important data to these things. Check here for a good source on DVD media:

I've had a 2-3% failure rate with ritek blanks.. Granted, they're not exactly CMC, but they're also no Taiyu Yuden.

I have very few failures with any single layer DVDs. Double layers are a whole nother story.

Nothing is worse than Office Depot brand DVDR's. All the movies I burned with these disks won't play anymore...except on a playstation 2.... which is strange...
