Yeah, REI has pretty nice stuff but their prices are higher than usual. The 20% off brings it down to reasonable. If you are a member, the discounted items don't qualify for the yearly cash back either. The best thing about them is their return policy and that's really only useful if you have a brick and mortar store near you.

Best to buy at REI on sale or clearance. Sales happen often and the clearance is on a web site. But they have some bargains if you are patient. The Lowe camera back packs on sale or with the coupon being one instance. Also, returns are easy.
