Would've whipped out the plastic this second if it had been 50"+ for this price. If I'm going to take my chances on a refurb, it might as well be one hell of a deal, not a "so-so" deal.

does anyone have experience with this brand? i'm looking for a new monitor but not sure about taking chances with a refurb brand i'm unfamiliar with...

It's not the best quality and the screen is a bit dim. Contrast is not as good as other brands/models. This isn't that great a deal for a refurbed set.

The TV brand is terrible, the service is the pits. The TV looked okay to me, good for a cheap set and lots of inputs (I had a 32"), but 30 days after I got it the backlight went out. I sent it in August 24th for repairs, and they still have it 6 months later!
I've sent complaints to the BBB, AG of California, and my CC and they have not sent it back. Finally Amex refunded me the money and I bought a Vizio, who knows if they will send it back or even do anything. Mine is one of their 60 unanswered complaints on the BBB site.
