If you have games systems and a AV receiver and a DVR cable box = MUST BUY!
No more going up to my stupid TV and AV receiver and hitting the correct input buttons.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

How is the battery life on these things? It seems like that screen would drain them pretty fast.

The battery life is pretty amazing actually. It lasts me like a week at a time and charges in no time at all.

No it will not control your PS3. You have to get some sort of adaptor to transform RF to BT and then it will work.
The battery life is about 10-12hrs of constant use...considering you click a button and then do nothing on it for hrs on end the battery life is like a week.

The only bluetooth remote for the PS3 is the one made by Sony. However, there are a few companies who make devices that will receive IR commands from a remote like this, and translate them over USB or Bluetooth to control the PS3. I would recommend you look through this thread if you are interested.

If you have a complex AV setup, get one.
If you have a non-technical gf, get one.
If you've lost one of your old remotes, get one.

Last I checked the 880's had major recharging station issues.

The charging problem is because the remote stops making a bad connection with the pins on the base, I just sanded the excess plastic around the connections on the remote and never had charging problems since(almost 2 years).
I don't know if the problem is fixed on newer models but even if it isn't fixed this is still the best remote.

#15, I've got a finger that powns your 720 remote. It is compatable with all future standards (digital, analog, PS3, RF). It is also multi-function as i can use it to go to the bathroom and be the master of my domain. It is also portable and configured in a redundant array of 10 independent digits (RAID 10) in case one fails to function. You can suck on that... literally.

I never thought a remote could be eye candy, but this remote is very well styled.
