I bought one of these at $1200 from Best Buy, and am very pleased with it. Heavy, to be sure, but what do you expect from this grade of desktop replacement?

This was THE laptop to get about 4 months ago. Do your own research and investigate.

I bought this laptop for $1250 at BestBuy a few months ago, and have absolutely no regrets. It just flies through games. All of the recent games I've been playing work great on this with max graphics settings, at the 1920x1200 res. On the Windows Vista performance test, the graphics card and memory benchmarks get the highest possible score(a 5.9), and the CPU(5.2) and hard drive(5.4) aren't far behind.
When I bought this a few months ago, I looked around at similar laptops from other manufacturers. The cheapest I could find something comparable was around $2500. Between the 4GB of DDR3, 7200RPM hard drive(and 2 hard drive bays), 9800GTS graphics card, full 1080p screen, wireless-N, and HDMI and eSATA outputs, this is a truly amazing deal. Plus, it's upgradable. If you want more RAM, pop in 8GB of DDR3. Or, if you want a faster CPU, you can put an Intel Quadcore in.
If you're thinking about getting a gaming laptop, stop thinking, and get this.

I was able to buy one earlier. Thanks for the 5% cashback, and sorry about this Ben, you're not getting a penny because I used live.com.

I called both CompUSA and Tiger to see if I could order one. One said that they had a 200 count back order and the other one said the last one was ordered 20min before. O well maybe next time
