Do these work with Macs? I need one to cool off the mac, but the fan on it seems to be from the back.

I had this for one week and returned it because of fan noise.Antec Notebook Cooler worked better for me.

Does this thing require another AC plug or will it run on laptop's USB cable? Curious if it's portable at all.

It will run with USB...i got 2 for those on BF at CC for $15 after Live CB
