i dont intend to retort hostility in kind, but what barn did you crawl out from under?
You have got to be kidding me? are you just looking for attention or are you actually think your statements have any merit at all in this modern world of our?
lets get back to deal shopping and leave one's bigotry at the physique ward

why wait for core i7 you will always be waiting Core2 is way above fine for 85% of people even gammers man with the GFX Cards and Proc and Mem we have gotten freakin spoiled I still run a p4 lappy for everyday and a AMD a2 with a nice VIVO HD Rad DT for 3d design/DVDburn/Game and its fine for everything so Core 2 is wayyy fine! I mean unless you are a Serious 3D Designer/Video Editor/ Hard Core Gammer who needs AAA Specs why wait? just my 2cents keep the penny leave the other if you like! but IMO the price of Core2's are fan-freaking-tastic!

Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8200 (4MB L2, 2.33GHz, 1333FSB)
8 GB DDR2 SDRAM 800MHz (4 DIMMs)
256MB ATI Radeon HD 3450 supporting HDMI
2 * 640 GB SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM)
16X DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capability
Media Bay
56Kbps Data/Fax Modem (completely redundant!)
USB Optical two button mouse
USB Multimedia Keyboard
Windows Vista Home Premium
64BIT Operating System DVD
64BIT Operating System CD
Microsoft Works 9.0
$669 - $100 coupon + $47 tax + Free shipping = $616
Pros: Good deal.
Cons:
Would have preferred 2 * 1TB drives.
8GB RAM is more than I need right now - would have been happy to expand it later next year.
Modem is useless (and will be removed when I receive it).
Don't need the mouse and keyboard.
The Q8200 is a low-end quad-core and doesn't support IntelĀ® Virtualization Technology or IntelĀ® Trusted Execution Technology. The lack of VT means I can't run a 64-bit guest OS in VMware. I'll probably swap the processor for something better a year from now when they're cheaper.
