I think I'd feel much better if this was named QualitySelect instead of ValueSelect. Sound too much like Cheap to me.

my fd got it but after he completed the pre-registration as stated in the rebate form, the amount shows up as $20 instead of $40. anyone experienced this too? any workaround?

That is what VISA cards are for.

Simply dispute the charge if they don't agree to the $40 rebate.

I have used ValueSelect memory. Nothing wrong with it - good quality, just not built to overclock like their regular stuff. I've been using Corsair for years, and never had a problem across any of their memory lines. Was thinking of jumping in on this, but don't *NEED* the extra memory, and not willing to put up with the hassle of "Is it $20 or is it $40?" rebate worrying.

You guys always make me laugh on here. I can't believe this memory is only $10 bucks, seems to good to be true for 4 gigs, but I guess memory makers are loosing their shirts right now just like the oil companies. Makes sense because they all ramped up production when the economy was booming, now people aren't buying new computers or servers, so the memory is just sitting and they have to dump it real low.

I never had problem with any rabate VISA card.

This product number is: VS4GSDSKIT667D2 G according to Frys.

On this rebate page it shows up as $20.00 but has no "G" at the end.
