impressive price, but you're better off with the $500 Dell laptop. 6 Cell battery, better processor, more RAM and larger hard drive.

Compared to netbooks, or just for plain old vanilla use, this is a true steal of a deal! Although, I never bought anything from CompUSA, are they alright to deal with? Prefer the egg. Oops!...The deal doesn't seem to be valid any longer.

Comparing this to a netbook is not a fair comparison. Of course it has much better specs and speed than a netbook. But the whole purpose of a netbook is to have something that is extremely light and portable, which this laptop is not.

It's back. Great deal to get it with the ATI integrated video. I'm amazed #2 felt it was a great insight to mention that more expensive laptops tend to have better specs. O rly?
