Notice that this says monitor and not tv.

I noticed it, but I also noticed that the product description states the following - ATSC / NTSC / ClearQAM Tuner. Just a case of a poorly written description.

47" is an unusual size. Being a refurb makes it even more iffy. And then there's the matter of being from ecost...

The 3 keywords that drove me away:

Costco will have the Sceptre 46" 1080p for $699 starting Jan 5. Don't know about Sceptre quality but I like the price and the Costco warranty.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with a Westinghouse Digital TV. Their customer service is a total scam. If you have problems with one of their products you might as well throw it away. It took 9 months of twice weekly calls to get them to replace a defective 'refurbished' tv model with known audio delay problems. The replacement they sent after two months of hassling them had the same problem. The third unit I got from them worked. They are all very nice on the phone, but don't do what they say they will do. I recommend staying as far away from these jokers as possible. Seriously.
